The year was 1925, in a small village called ASBEEK in Pajotenland. A flemish town just 15km. away from Brussels (Belgiums' Capital). FRANS VERBEKEN A Flemish Farmer stumbled into a recipe of making a special kind of sausage mixed with Flemish spices. This type of sausage was so good that it became instantly famous all over the land. Eventually, earning a status as a staple dish in Belgium. The enthusiastic Mr. Verbeken expanded the idea and has come up with other food products... and the rest was history.
In 2001, the same age old Flemish tradition was brought to the Philippines by his Grandson - Mr. RENAAT TIRRY; inspired with Belgiums' National Hero - JAN BREYDEL; Mr. Tirry carries the name to brand his continuously improved craft. Experimenting and strengthening his culinary wisdom by studying in the prestiguous school of cooking in 'TER GROENE POORTE' in the coastal city of Brugge; honed further by managing his own home restaurant for 25 years in an area near Brussels. At present, Mr. Tirry - refusing to live in retirement continuously sustain the heritage of his Grandfathers' legacy; and is now making the finest taste of European Kitchen available to the Philippines and perhaps, the rest of the world...
